I mentioned in my last post that wearing Vapour Organic Beauty's Aura Multi Use Classic in Artemis brings out my inner Viking princess. Having descended from Scandinavian Vikings, I was inspired to pay them tribute by creating a modern, glamorous warrior look!
While this particular look may not be suitable for work or school, you can always tone it down a bit. Clean makeup is an amazing medium to express your creativity! If you are not completely satisfied with how something has turned out, just wash your face and try again. Also, don't be afraid to really experiment with your products! If your blush is safe to use near the eyes, try using it as an eyeshadow to carry the same color throughout your look. Cream blushes often make great lipsticks too! I have used Artemis on my eyes, cheeks, and lips to demonstrate how versatile and stunning a single product can be!

Kari Gran Lip Whip
I like to keep my lips hydrated and silky-smooth by applying a bit of Lip Whip as the first step in my routine. Check out my full review of the Radiant Lip Whip here.
Whenever I am creating a dramatic eye look, I like to start with eyeshadow so that any fallout can easily be cleaned up without disrupting my foundation. For this strong warrior look, I used tape angled from the outer corners of my eyes to the ends of my brows to get a really crisp, defined wing! Take the tape on and off the back of your hand a few times before finally sticking it into place. This will get rid of some of the tape's adhesiveness so that it won't hurt when its time to remove it.
I warmed Artemis up on the back of my hand before using my fingers to apply this beautiful berry shade from the outer corner to the middle of each of my eyes.
Alima Pure Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadows
These loose mineral eyeshadows blend with such ease! I packed Chai, a stunning, pale rose gold shade, from the middle to the inner corners of my eyes.
100% Pure Maracuja Mascara
The wet formula of this mascara makes for a fantastic eyeliner! With a small, angled brush, I followed my lash line and then the angle of the tape almost all of the way up to my brow to create a seriously fierce wing! For a subtler look, you can easily create a shorter flick along your tape. Once done lining I removed the tape to reveal my bold wing! I also applied mascara to my top and bottom lashes at this point. I find that wiggling the brush at the base of my lashes and then working upwards creates the most volume!
RMS Beauty "Un" Cover-Up
I used this cream as my foundation and concealer because the coverage builds up flawlessly! I applied a very thin layer all over my face using a damp Beauty Blender and used the pointy end of the sponge around my eyes so that I wouldn't smudge my wings. I then went back in with my finger to tap a little extra product underneath my eyes to conceal.
W3ll People Bio Bronzer Stick
The color of this bronzer is a rich, warm brown that gives my pale skin a sun-kissed boost! I used my fingers to blend this on my temples, around my hairline, and lightly across the bridge of my nose. I then drew a small line angled from the top of my ear to the corner of my mouth to create a lightly contoured effect to accentuate my cheekbones. I kept my lines short because my face can tend to look too angular when I go overboard with contouring. Aren't we all guilty of crazy contouring every now and again?
RMS Beauty Master Mixer
I am in love with this product! For this look, I used my fingers to apply a generous amount to the tops of my cheekbones and down the center of my nose for a strikingly radiant glow! Check out my full review of Master Mixer here.
I then used my fingers to blend Artemis onto my cheeks for a natural flush.
Alima Pure Natural Definition Eye Pencil in Paper
This pencil has fabulous pigmentation and the soft white color is perfect to add along the waterline for a bright, eyeopening effect. I also followed my wing from and the contour of my undereye to enhance my warrior glamour!
RMS Beauty Living Luminizer
This gorgeous, pearly highlighter is a must-have! I love applying it to the tops of my cheekbones to highlight, but I just tapped it on the inner corners of my eyes for a bit of illumination this time around.
I then used my finger to blend Artemis onto my lips. It is seriously the most flattering my-lips-but-better color that I have ever tried!
Kide Cosmetics Y Gold Highlighter
This highlighter is gorgeous! The gold-toned shimmer provides warmth to the skin and the addition of diamond powder naturally illuminates for a lit-from-within radiance. I used a fluffy brush and a light hand to set my entire face with this stunning powder.

Here's the finished look! I hope that this was helpful and that you enjoy creating your own fierce, Viking princess look with a glamorous, modern twist! Enjoy experimenting and discovering how versatile your favorite products can be!
